Facilities & Service Manager

If you are curious & creative, invested in not only your own success but also the growth of others, and believe in building the Great Australian Food Company, then you might be the one for us The Role Our Chelsea Heights site is located in Melbourne’s south-east, manufacturing a range of more than 44 milk, milk-based beverages and cream products. The site currently produces around 100 million litres of product every year – processing, packing, and delivering 24 hours a day, six days a week. The main role of the Facilities and Services Manager is to support the site reliability team by providing effective leadership across all aspects of site facilities and services.

If you have an engineering, mechanical or trades background and a process improvement mindset, we are looking for you Responsibilities Ensure site services are maintained to a high standard which includes refrigeration, boilers, air compressors, plumbing, gardening, cleaning, waste water, etc. Use your experience to develop, maintain and implement process improvements of our services Lead and manage contractors working on site services Develop pipeline to ensure effective asset lifecycle management of key assets Influence and lead people to ensure successful outcomes, and provide feedback with areas of opportunity/improvement About you Previous experience working in an engineering-based role Experience implementing change initiatives and process improvement mindset Self-starter who is good at managing their time and workload amongst competing demands Great interpersonal skills with the ability to influence decisions Good team player The Bega Story Bega Cheese Group is home to many trusted and iconic food and beverage brands.
