With the country depending upon our systems being secure, highly resilient and efficient, you will work within the Bank’s Information Technology (IT) department, and experience the capability-building opportunity to work with Australia’s most critical core banking and payments platforms. Your team Within the Information Technology (IT) Market Systems team, you will be part of a collaborative team of Application Support Developers actively working across BAU activities , to transform and develop the core IT operations functions that support the Reserve Bank's policy, operational and corporate objectives.

Reporting to the Business Systems Support Lead, and working closely with the other Developers, this is an excellent opportunity for you to be part of a high performing team, working alongside experienced people who are passionate about protecting the security and stability of our technology estate. We are innovative, curious and strongly believe in delivering value and efficiency through our work. Key responsibilities include: Provide technical support to users and resolves issues, supporting critical Bank applications Actively participate in the management of all stakeholders, delivery partners and customers to ensure that high quality customer service is delivered Ensure currency of all technical components of the system portfolio including security patching Develop, configure, deploy, test, administer and maintain departments’ software applications Work with business stakeholders to identify their current and potential requirements Analyse, recommend, design, develop, implement, test and manage changes and updates to the software, including major upgrades, patches and minor version updates, customisation and configurations Your background We are seeking a motivated and driven Application Support Developer to provide specialised analytical skills for the support and implementation of technology solutions to meet the business requirements for the Bank.

With a primary focus on in-house developed web and desktop End-User focused systems, you will ensure that these are aligned with the Bank's enterprise architecture, security, risk and IT standards and policies. To be successful in the role you will possess: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and investigate production issues Experience in incident management, service request and work request fulfilment, change management and problem management adhering to agreed service levels Strong stakeholder management and engagement skills including demonstrated skills in providi.
