Short Course Administrative Officer

New Business Accelerator – Ballarat Campus Full-time, fixed-term appointment for 3 years HEW 5 - $71,415 p.a. plus up to 17% superannuation About the role You will be responsible for implementing and undertaking complex administrative processes, solutioning and supporting the learner journey for the effective and efficient delivery of short courses.

You will: coordinate administrative support for development and delivery of short courses; contribute to ongoing short course administration discussions and problem-solving of processes, system requirements and integrations; establish and maintain templates supporting the learner journey and communications; support the coordination of short courses, preparation of contracts, short course learner journey, and staff induction on short course management; and facilitate course finalisation processing, including preparing certifications and reports, monitoring course results, and following up on completions. About you You will provide complex education-focused administrative services to staff to support the university's short course operations for non-traditional learners; You will possess demonstrated: experience in the administration of new and ongoing short courses in an education context; interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to establish collaborative working relationships; organisational and time management skills, including the ability to prioritise work demands to meet conflicting deadlines; ability to work independently, as well as in a multi-functional team environment; and ability and extensive knowledge of computer programs, such as databases, MS Office environment, Excel, email and other associated packages.
