Job Description The Broker Support Officer is responsible for managing loan applications from 3rd party Mortgage Brokers, which includes: Liaising with Brokers, BDM’s and other key stakeholders to ensure an application meets Beyond Bank’s lending assessment and product criteria; Providing ongoing communication and support by updating Brokers throughout the life of the transaction; Maintaining ownership of individual files from lodgement to settlement which includes: Loading the loan application into our Loan Origination and CRM systems.

Reviewing application documents i.e. income, savings and loan statements, property valuations.

Ensuring the application meets Beyond Bank’s product and lending policies and preparing the submission to our credit assessment team and lender’s mortgage insurer. Calculation of income for loan serviceability. The ability to review and analyse financial statements for self-employed applications will be highly regarded.

Instructing our settlements team to prepare loan documents and responding to lending scenarios. Desired Skills and Experience To be considered for this position you will have the following skills and experience: Proven current experience in secured lending Strong understanding of secured lending credit policies, processes and products Working knowledge of operational, financial institution compliance requirements Well developed communication and problem solving skills Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders Ability to work well both independently and within a team environment Strong organisational and time management skills High-level attention to detail Positive ‘Can Do’ Attitude Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on building relationships Adaptable with.
