About the Position You will provide direct care and practical assistance to individuals and in approved group activities which enable participants to live as independently as possible in their own home and community of choice and maintain quality of life. Operating within Aged Care and NDIS standards and from a wellness approach, you will provide flexible, responsive and individualised support in home, centre and community settings. To be successful in this role, you will hold a Certificate III Individual Support / Aged or Disability and/or at least one (1) years' experience in individual support or community services.

You will have proven experience in and/or demonstrated willingness to provide domestic assistance, personal care and social support (access to community for shopping or other activities). You will have good time management skills and a demonstrated ability to effectively work within a team. You will uphold the values of Anglicare NT and provide quality services within the scope of the position and associated delegations.

Please note: It is a requirement that prior to commencing in this role, you must possess a Working with Children Clearance (Ochre Card), a National Criminal History Check (within 3 months) and a current Northern Territory driver's licence. This is a full time, permanent position and therefore the successful applicant must ensure they have full Australian work rights Experience of working closely with and having a strong understanding of Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander culture would be considered an advantage.
