HR Advisor- Sydney Metro, Western Sydney Airport CPB Contractors in joint venture with Ghella have been selected by the NSW Government to deliver to deliver the Sydney Metro - Western Sydney Airport Station Boxes and Tunnelling Works (WSA-SBT). The project will involve the design and construction of a new metro tunnel around 9.8 kilometres in length between St Marys in the north and the Aerotropolis Core precinct in the south.
The design and construction scope includes the following: two sections of twin running, tunnel boring machines, tunnels with a total combined length of approximately 9.8 km, plus associated portal dive structures and tunnel support activities station box excavations with temporary ground support at St Marys, Orchard Hills, Western Sydney Airport Terminal, Western Sydney Aerotropolis and two intermediate service facilities, one in each of the tunnel sections. Major works are scheduled to commence in 2022 and continue until 2025.
Your opportunity: We are accepting applications for an experienced Human Resources Advisor to join the team on this iconic and once in a generation project in Sydney’s West. The key responsibilities of the role include: Management of direct labor (blue collar) recruitment An ability to assist with the management of the generalist HR functions on the project Provide high level advice on ER functions Provide high level advice on a wide range of HR functions, including performance management and review, learning and development, recruitment, WHS and workforce planning Exposure to, and ability to provide advice on, industrial relations matters is advantageous To be considered you will have: Minimum 5 years’ experience in an HR/ER advisory role, in support of senior managers Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business or Psychology Proficiency in the use of MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), Outlook and database management Effective organizational, communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to manage conflicting priorities.
