About the role: We’re looking for a Senior Custody Manager to join our dynamic and fast paced team. In this role, you will be involved across all operational matters that relate to custody and investment operations.

The right person for this role is a passionate, novice or experienced investor, with an acute attention to detail and the ability to work autonomously. Required experience, qualifications and attributes: Minimum of 5 years experience at an investment management, funds management, custodian, stockbroker, or similar business Strong experience in Operations such as custody reconciliations for domestic and international equity markets, and related operational risk and compliance requirements Solid product knowledge in superannuation and domestic and international equities Solid understanding of the Client Money provisions under the Corporations Act Tech savvy with high proficiency in Excel and strong, demonstrable VBA and/or Javascript skills are highly desirable Good working knowledge of global corporate actions and reasonable understanding of their related tax implications Experience with multinational banks or cross-border institutions is preferable A meticulous attention to detail and ability to work autonomously Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects, perform under pressure and adhere to strict deadlines Proven problem-solving skills, including the ability to troubleshoot an issue before escalation Excellent communication skills, in-person and online, via email, phone, and digital apps, combined with effective listening skills Comfortable working in an agile start-up environment, adopting a consultative and cooperative approach to your work Ideally, you will have a degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or other related discipline RG146 compliance and other relevant postgraduate qualifications (CFA/CA/CPA) highly regarded but not essential Benefits Market-leading salary package, including the opportunity for equity Work alongside equally talented peers at a company that’s leading the way, at the convergence of tech and financial services Work-life balance and the flexibility to work from home Our modern CBD offices are stocked with fresh fruit, snacks and a welcoming environment Employment Type: Full Time Location: Sydney.
