This is a Recruitment Pool for suitably qualified Nurse Practitioners covering: Permanent Full Time, Permanent Part Time, Fixed Term Full Time, Fixed Term Part Time and Casual appointments, with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency. The following must be noted: The panel will monitor this recruitment pool for applications and will assess on a regular basis. Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur.
Appointments may be made from this pool until 31/03/2023 . Position Profile: We are currently seeking to appoint Nurses Practitioners – Emergency Department across various sites within the South West of Western Australia. The Nurse Practitioner by negotiation must be prepared to be deployed to another site from time to time.
The Nurse Practitioner – Emergency Department (NP-ED) provides advanced nursing practice using innovative models to patients and their families presenting for emergency and urgent care. The NP-ED functions autonomously and collaboratively in an advanced and extended clinical role with other health professionals to diagnose, treat and manage patients’ health problems. The NP-ED uses nursing expertise and leadership that influences and progresses clinical care, policy and collaboration for emergency and urgent care patients in WACHS and the region.
