The Opportunity: The Manager, Performance & Planning, The Oz is a part of the Consumer News Advance team. Reporting to The Head of Scale Up, News & Entertainment the role is responsible for driving new audience growth for The Oz.

The team culture is built on energy, trust, curiosity, innovation and accountability. The Oz is a new digital subscription offering a relevant and reliable news platform for (and by) young Australians. We are redefining the way young Australians consume journalism, as a thought-provoking publisher of premium content, enabling our audience to form their opinion and arming them with social talking points.

Blending the boundaries between news and culture to reflect how un-siloed these categories have become in everyday social feeds. Responsibilities: - Lead ongoing subscription performance optimization for The Oz to achieve scale up growth ambitions through digital advertising - Regularly assess what's working well - and what isn't - and adjust / pivot accordingly - Contribute to strategic growth plans, spanning awareness, consideration and conversion objectives - Lead campaign planning including brief development and investment phasing - Maximise cross sell and bundling opportunities across the NewsCorp network - Develop and deliver a program of always on conversion experimentation across point of purchase, paywall & sampling - Partner closely with Editorial & Digital Product teams to attract and engage young Australians with our content, aligning organic and paid promotion opportunities for maximum impact - Leverage the best of NewsCorp's specialist teams including Brand, PR, Media, Customer Engagement and Growth Intelligence Centre to deliver The Oz objectives Who we're looking for: - Key to the success of someone in this role is the ability to apply a learning mindset and move with agility. You're a creative thinker, who is comfortable innovating in a fast paced environment with an understanding of the social media advertising landscape.

You're results oriented with a strong grasp for the commercials & customer first mindset. - Solid experience in a digital business within consumer marketing or digital product - preferably within a subscriptions environment - Proactive, with a problem-solving/growth mindset - Strong project and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment - Strong business acumen and understanding of ROI and campaign metrics - Team player, with proven capability in using data and insights to influence decision making.
