About the role An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Specialist Business Development Manager to promote, drive and expand NEC's Unified Communications (UC) and Customer Experience (CX) products and services to government and enterprise customers. Key responsibilities - Identify, qualify, develop and present propositions/solutions that meet the needs of the customers - Work with New Market Business Development Managers, Major Account Business Development Managers, Customer Success Managers and Solution Architect teams to qualify new opportunities, define quotes and proposals, and close sales - Identify new leads and prospects aligned with NEC's UC and CX solutions - Deliver presentations internally and directly to new and existing prospects to position NEC's value associated with our Unified Communications offerings - Develop, manage and deliver accurate business documentation supporting short and long term sales forecasts and pipeline, in line with NEC business objectives. - Develop, capture and maintain an extensive knowledge base and pipeline of all accounts including opportunity and win plans About you We are looking for a highly motivated, commercially astute and proven Sales professional ready for their next challenge.
You will have a consultative and customer focused approach to partner effectively with a prospective customer in identifying and understanding their needs. Crucial to this role is the ability to engage with influence and credibility across all stakeholder and client groups. Additionally, you will have the following: - Proven experience (5 years) in a sales role within the Unified Communications and Customer Experience space - Proven experience in positioning and selling cloud and as-a-service models to Enterprise clients - Proven experience in managing the sales process (lead identification, qualification through to closure) - Ability to effectively communicate with all levels within the business (Executive through to Technical teams) - Strong knowledge and experience of Unified Communications products and services - Strong influencing / negotiation / persuasion skills - Ability to work closely and build relationships with other Sales and Solution Professionals in a collaborative and supportive mann....
