As a COI Datacenter Project Manager, you will perform a key role in delivering the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for Microsoft's online services including Bing, Office 365, Xbox, OneDrive, and the Microsoft Azure platform. As a group, COI is focused on the personal and professional development of all employees and offers trainings and opportunities including Career Rotation Programs, Diversity & Inclusion trainings and events, and professional certifications. Come and join us in COI and be at the forefront of the action Responsibilities The purpose of this role In the Data Center Project Manager role, you will work with the Data Center Operations Manager and other Data Center Project Managers to drive and implement consistent programs across your data center.
With your team, you will enable the build out, onboarding and operationalization of new data center capacity. The Impact You'll Be Making - Empower a culture of safety, security, and compliance in all aspect of data center activities - Establish and enhance strong working relationships with customers - Create and manage end-to-end project plans and ensure on time delivery - Plan, manage, and communicate end-to-end project plans with stakeholders and teams and escalate as required to remove obstacles - Perform day to day project check-in and update to manage project delivery and quality - Identify risks, gaps, Root Cause Analysis and opportunities and communicate to stakeholders and other teams to drive resolution - Gather and provide feedback on troubleshooting, lessons learned, best practices, and innovations on process/procedures and tools to improve efficiencies and productivity - Work with various Engineering, Operations, Electrical and Mechanical Engineers, DC Build Managers, and Regional Technical Infrastructure Managers during proje....
