Strategic Account Manager - Neuroscience (VIC/TAS/SA/NT) Location: Melbourne, Victoria, Australia Requisition : 220003R8 Post Date: Feb 27, 2022 Careers That Change Lives This is a great opportunity to join the Medtronic ANZ Strategic Sales team, in a rewarding and challenging Strategic Accounts Manager role, managing the Neuroscience portfolio. We are seeking a talented medical device sales leader with a background in key account management to join this exciting new team A Day in the Life: Reporting into the Strategic Sales Director - ANZ, the Strategic Accounts Manager will enable individual Neuroscience Portfolio Operating Units to achieve their goals by applying commercial excellence with our public and private buying influences. Within this role you will manage the Neuroscience portfolio across Victoria, Tasmania, South Australia and the Northern Territory, securing sustainable contracts for profitable revenue and share growth in the private and public sector.

You will pursue new business opportunities and execute the pan-Medtronic and Neuroscience portfolio customer value proposition with C-Suite Executive partners to drive mutual benefit. By forging long-term partnerships at the C-Suite level and with national Groups, the Strategic Sales team creates opportunities for access to Medtronic technologies and drives product penetration. - Protect and generate incremental revenue from a portfolio of Key Accounts within Victoria, Tasmania, South Australia and the Northern Territory, in accordance with agreed targets - Own the C-Suite relationship (CEO, CFO etc) and serve as the lead point of contact for all business development related matters for Key Accounts in your region - Be the lead Strategic Accounts Manager for the Neuroscience portfolio for one or more National Buying Groups (e.

g. HealthScope), and work as required as part of a pan-Medtronic team of Corporate Account Managers Strategic Account Managers - Work towards an overall Neuroscience target, by adapting to necessary business models in order to generate required business revenue - Manage sales related activities including offer modelling and analytics, proposal preparation, offer presentation, contract and terms negotiations, price negotiation, cost analysis, liability and exposure management and negotiation, for your region - Grow collaborative and synergistic relationships across the Neuroscience portfolio - Seek out new opportunities, work towards an overall Neuroscience target and be an invaluable business partner for Neuroscience Leads/Directors Must Have: - Minimum of 5 years sales or business leadership experience in the medical devices sector - Bachelors Degree as a minimum in Business, Sales, Economics or Marketing - Several jurisdictions across Australia have established mandatory requirements for healthcare workers and others working in health care settings to be vaccinated with at least two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine.
