Inside Sales Specialist

We produce and publish learning resources, digital and print-based, for those in the health, engineering and professional fields. We have a newly created role as an Inside Sales Specialist to provide effective customer engagement for the region's digital renewal business.
What is this role about? You will be responsible for supporting the regional sales revenue target through digital renewal business. This role will report to Head of Sales, Australasia and working collaboratively with digital sales representatives and external partners where applicable to enable and support the delivery of the sales budget for renewals and upgrades. What can you expect as our new Inside Sales Specialist: · Direct responsibility for all customer trials; ensuring good experience, support materials / Zoom-based onboarding (if required) and follow-through.
Lead reporting on trial performance and outcome across all digital products. · Provide the 1st line of enquiry for customers in the territory regarding the region's renewal activity, ensuring timely responses and accurate information. · Supporting the region's retention efforts through quotation, pricing and renewal proposals that are prepared effectively and communicated.
· Execute on a customer retention strategy in territory (including local sales offers) to ensure desired renewal rates are achieved for digital subscription products across the region. · Provide support to marketing and field sales on customer events, industry events and other key engagement activity across the region as required. Ensuring specific support to encourage customer participation.
· Understand the territory in detail - trends, competitors, relevant procurement regulations to propose any changes as required to the overall sales strategy. · Experience in working with digital customers ideally across the Australasia region. · Knowledge of technology, academic and/or healthcare sectors · Excellent track record of customer engagement and customer management in the last 2 years · Excellent communication and time-management skills. · Attention to detail and 'can do' attitude to customer problem-solving.
