Title: Industry Engagement Manager The Company Kellogg Brown and Root (KBR) is a leading Defence and Government professional services provider. KBR Australia has been engaged in working with Defence and Defence Industry for over 20 years and has core competencies in program and project management, engineering, asset management, integrated logistics support, procurement and training solutions, and provides in-depth expertise to a wide range of projects within the Defence sector. The Role KBR's Aerospace Team is currently seeking an Experienced Industry Engagement Manager to assist our client in their principle role supporting the the Office of Defence Industry Support (ODIS) strategy on behalf of Air Force Headquarters as the strategy owner.
Many of the initiatives have already been progressed and of particular note and size is an Initiative for the development and launch of an Industry Participation Profile (IPP). The IPP will be a database register of all (Australian) contractors and sub-contractors of our Defence Industry prime system integrators (PSIs). The IPP will inform ODIS and Government of the scale, scope and related participation metrics of industry support for the Air Domain as we pursue growth of Australian Industry Capability (AIC) opportunities; through execution of our AI Strategy and Sovereign Industrial Capability Priorities (SICP) initiatives.
The Industry Engagement Manager will be tasked with the establishment of an Air & Space Small Business Industry Participation Profile, documenting both current and prospective opportunities, sourced from our prime system integrators, incorporating content from published AIC plans and SICP implementations. Required Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge - Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, Law or similar (ideal) or commensurate professional experience. - Experienced Defence Industry practitioner specialised in Industry Engagement, Supplier Relations and / or Commercial Advisory.
- Advanced administrative and business support capabilities. - Advanced Stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills. - Proven track record of successful delivery of outcomes.
- Event management and engagement skills. - Highly advanced communication skills (written and verbal). ? The role requires a Baseline security clearance (minimum) and is located at Defence Plaza, Melbourne or Brindabella Business Park, Canberra Airport.
