Integrated Logistics Support Management

The Role This position functions as a technical specialist who makes decisions and recommendations that are recognized as authoritative and have a far reaching impact on extensive engineering and related activities of the company in the ILS space.
Candidates will have: - Experience working "above the line" in Defence - Experience Drafting ILSC - Experience Drafting ILSI - Experience engaging with training - Strong understanding of reliability and maintainability engineering. - Experience in the Capability Life Cycle - Prior experience in or with the Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group is preferred. The conduct of a robust contract governance assurance program is critical to LMU providing assurance to the Capability Manager that the responsibilities outlined above are met.
To support this program, the Logistics Support position provides subject matter expertise within the LMU and other Systems Program Office (SPO) Management Units to assist in executing their Logistics Governance Assurance activities, particularly leading up to the transition to the ERP environment. The result is a whole-of-SPO approach to Logistics Governance Assurance, coordinated and managed by LMU. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE - Minimum of 5-years experience in an integrated logistic support or logistic engineering discipline (Essential).
- Demonstrated experience and understanding of defence inventory management/supply support systems, processes, procedures and tools especially MILIS. - Previous experience working within a Defence environment (Desirable) - The ability to obtain a Defence Security Clearance to NV1.
