Be at the frontier of medical technology, providing services to varied populations around Australia without leaving the comfort of your own home XRHealth is seeking a highly motivated registered Occupational Therapist to join our expanding allied health team.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of private counselling experience and an interest in digital health, virtual reality therapy, private practice and a passion for ongoing professional development. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Performing initial assessment sessions according to standards of practice and assess whether the patient is appropriate for the program - Deliver evidence-based therapy interventions both individually and group focused - Documenting patient progress according to standards - Sending full progress reports to the referring physician if and when required Requirements of the role: - Tertiary qualification as a Occupational Therapist - Registration with AHPRA - An appropriate work from home setup, including a high-speed internet connection and a computer/laptop/tablet for use in Telehealth - Excellent communication skills - A willingness to learn - An interest in the role of emerging technology in Occupational Therapy practice - Rostering flexibility, due to the nature of telehealth there is a great opportunity to work non-traditional hours in the comfort of your own space Powered by JazzHR.
