Logistics Engineering Lead

Title: Logistics Engineering Lead The Company Kellogg Brown and Root (KBR) is a leading Defence and Government professional services provider. KBR Australia has been engaged in working with Defence and Defence Industry for over 20 years and has core competencies in program and project management, engineering, asset management, integrated logistics support, procurement and training solutions, and provides in-depth expertise to a wide range of projects within the Defence sector. The Role The Systems Analysis & Training Solutions (STS) division of KBR has an exciting opportunity for a people focused Logistics Engineering Lead to join our business working across several exciting & innovative Defence projects.

Reporting into the STS Discipline Lead, this role is critical as it is the Team Lead for all Logistics Engineering activities within the SA&S discipline. It is responsible for developing and monitoring goals and performance of the function, as well as of individuals against support projects and programs. From a technical aspect, the Logistics Engineering Lead will provide advice on the application of tools, processes, procedures and standards.

This role would suit a Senior Technician or Engineer who is looking to move into a leadership role, where they can bring their technical expertise to further shape & develop a team of professionals. On the flipside of that, if you are a currently Team Lead who has a passion for developing, leading & getting the best out of people in a Logistics Engineering function - this role would also suit Here at KBR, we are passionate about personal development offering RTO courses in ILS, Leadership, Project Management & more. This role has the flexibility to be WFH full-time, with travel to meet with the team & client as needed.

Required Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge - Lead the Logistics Engineering activities within the Systems Analysis & Support discipline. - Demonstrated application of Capability Life Cycle and Logistic Engineering fundamentals - Providing input, direction and quality assurance against the teams Logistic Engineering products and outputs - Support the STS division with forecasting and prioritization of resources Logistics Engineering resources to support programs/projects at appropriate times in the project lifecycle or contracted activities. - Participate or lead in activities related to the design, development, and integration of logistic support systems.

- Knowledge of Australian Defence Contracting requirements such as ASDEFCON SOW and DIDs - Excellent organisational skills, self-drive and initiative with the ability to influence others to achieve results and business objectives. - Possess relevant engineering and/or technical qualifications - Currently hold or have the ability to obtain a Defence Clearance KBR's commitment to Zero Harm means that we are dedicated to improving the health and wellbeing of our staff and the communities we operate in.
