Sports Sales Manager APAC


The Sports Sales Manager APAC will build Vizrt's continued expansion into the APAC sports market by developing relationships and selling software solutions to sports broadcasters, sports federations, leagues, arenas, production houses, teams, networks and content creators. He/she will manage existing sports accounts and expand customer portfolio by hunting for new prospects. This role is preferred to be based in Vizrt Australia's office in Sydney or remotely working from Melbourne.

What you'll do - Hunt and identify new sports business opportunities and grow an established portfolio of sports accounts in APAC - Proactively identify and qualify new business opportunities within the portfolio - Drive a proactive consultative sales approach leading to cross- and upselling - Act as an expert in analysing customer needs, provide insights, manage expectations and communicate with clarity the Vizrt value proposition and USP - Diligently follow up and manage extensive customer contact including presentations, demonstrations, group meetings and sales calls (touchpoint management) - Manage the sales process from opportunity identification to closing - Understand the competitive landscape, state-of-the-art industry insights enabling a consultative selling approach, thus utilizing the knowledge to strengthen Vizrt' s position Tasks and Duties The main day to day tasks of the Sports Sales Manager APAC are as follows, but not limited to: - Develop, implement and drive Key Account plans for tier 1 accounts - Develop relationships with key stake holders at APAC federations/leagues and rightsholders including clubs and arenas - Map and maintain relationships with key decision makers across all relevant customer departments - Monthly customer status calls with Support org. and professional services - Drive Quarterly Business Reviews with customer decision makers - Actively drive knowledge sharing across peers at Vizrt, ensuring a base and common understanding of best practice Key Account Management - Preach and evangelist new Vizrt solutions within the account portfolio What you'll bring - 5 years of experience selling complex software solutions to B2B customers in the software, media industry, telecom or similar - Passion for sports and experience from within the sports industry - Knowledge of industry developments within sports, and ability to transfer that knowledge into strategic initiatives - Experienced in developing new business opportunities with new and existing accounts, by proper account planning and execution, utilizing a consultative sales approach - Demonstrated ability to support multiple product lines in a growing, fast-paced environment - Experienced in working in teams incl. e.

g. customer support, pre-sales and professional services - Experienced Windows, MS office and Salesforce user - Able to handle high demands, targets and highs stress situations - State-of-the-art account management and relationship building skills - Ability to match your st.
