Environment Manager
HAYSBe accountable for all aspects of the Environment Management leading into production go-live and post live. Your new company Hays Darwin are proud to be partnering with a government sub entity in the Northern Territory that is undergoing a major transformation project leading to a new billing system for its customer base. Your new role Your role will be to manage the required deployment and transition processes to ensure the final solution is successfully deployed into the production environment enabling the organisation to meet NT (Northern Territory) obligations, support metering and customer experience strategies and align to the target state operating model, including process automation and simplification.
What you'll need to succeed To be considered for this position, you should have: Demonstrated success and extensive experience in managing significant business and technology environments and releases. Demonstrated experience managing Technology or Business vendors to support the delivery of the Project’s outcomes Proven ability to quickly build and maintain professional relationships including the ability to positively influence and challenge key stakeholders to achieve successful transformation. Knowledge and awareness of contemporary release, environment and transition practices including utilising innovative and analytical approaches to resolving complex and challenging matters Knowledge and awareness of contemporary release, environment and transition practices including utilising innovative and analytical approaches to resolving complex and challenging matters Agile project management experience including driving an iterative delivery approach and providing guidance to the team as well as reporting progress to key stakeholders Demonstrable expertise with engineering tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps or similar Cloud experience or exposure to various cloud –based applications Good understanding of IT infrastructure What you'll get in return In return, you will receive an opportunity to join a leading organization and live/stay in the Tropical hub of Darwin in the NT.
