The role of the Training Facilitator is to deliver training sessions for the temporary election workforce who are employed as polling officials in a polling place during a federal election Client Details Our client is an independent statutory authority established by the Australian Government to maintain an impartial and independent electoral system for eligible voters through active electoral roll management, efficient delivery of polling services, and targeted education and public awareness programs. Description The role of the Training Facilitator is to deliver training sessions for the temporary election workforce who are employed as polling officials in a polling place during a federal election. As a skilled facilitator, you will be able to quickly comprehend and deliver a standard, national training package with confidence and assess comprehension and competence of the participants Undertake online and face to face training ahead of the election in preparation for the delivery of training sessions for polling officials.

Deliver face to face training sessions to polling officials in accordance with the supplied national training package and schedule. Liaise with relevant staff in advance of the commencement of the delivery of the first training session and then throughout the delivery of the sessions. Collection of training materials from an identified location.

Prepare and/or setup training venues in accordance with the national training package guidance, this may include transporting training materials and liaising with venue contacts. Work collaboratively with the SME to ensure participants benefit from their expertise and that key messages are delivered consistently and effectively in the training sessions. Monitor the effectiveness of the training session and the level of understanding attained by participants.

Capture and communicate any concerns or issues to our clients staff following each training session. Complete and maintain all training records accurately. In conjunction with our clients staff, resolve any complaints or incidents in accordance with procedures, documenting incidents and outcomes.

Key organisational accountabilities Ability to comply with the procedures and policies as varied from time to time; Ability to take reasonable steps to avoid any conflict of interest (real or apparent) in connection with your employment. Must not be or be seen to be publically active in political affairs and not intend to publicly engage is such activities during your employment. Be familiar with, abide by and promote all work health and safety frameworks, policies and procedures.

Complete learning and development relevant to the role or classification as required or directed Profile You will be required to work 1 - 3 days in August and again the week prior to polling day.
