Relevant experience and demonstrated achievement in a law enforcement agency or other public sector agency in areas such as management, compliance, investigation, audit, law or policy coupled with relevant training or qualifications. Highly developed interpersonal and oral communication skills including the ability to liaise, consult and negotiate effectively both within the Commission and with officers of other public sector agencies in relation to complex and sensitive issues, and to participate in education programs, liaison activities and regional visits. Well developed written communication skills including the ability to prepare detailed reports and correspondence dealing with complex issues.
Knowledge of, or ability to acquire knowledge of the Commission's legislative framework, policies, procedures and functions, and the relevant legislative and policy framework, procedures, functions, structures and operations of public sector agencies, including and understanding of the principles of fairness, equity and ethics.
