About the Role The Associate Nurse Researcher Coordinator (ANRC) - Medical Oncology provides senior clinical expertise and consultancy in collaboration with Specialist Trial Coordinators and Management of CTU.

The ANRC provides direct and indirect care as required and works with the wider health care team oftheDivision of Cancer Services (DOCS),ensuring patient and unit goals are achieved. In supporting the Specialist Trial Coordinators and Management of CTU, the ANRC provides advanced clinical knowledge and skills, leadership and direction to nursing and all CTU staff and is responsible for the facilitation and provision of safe, quality and cost-effective specialist clinical trial care consistent with contemporary standards and best practice in CTU and DOCS. The purpose of this role is to act as an ANR to support the conduct of clinical research in the specialty of Medical Oncology for cancer patients.

This includes provision of senior clinical, problem-solving skills, expert planning and co-ordination of patients with complex care needs within a research framework. This includes: Practical support for the Principal Investigators (PI) and project teams Handling administrative paperwork associated with participant recruitment, consent and education Supporting data collection Maintaining research records and databases Adhering to project requirements as per study protocol and other supporting documents Planning, managing and delivering specialist research related tasks and procedures. Supervision and mentoring of less experienced research staff across the two campuses.

As the Senior Research Coordinator - Health Practitioner (SRC-HP) - Medical Oncology to support the conduct of clinical research for adult and Adolescents and Young Adults (AYA) patients enrolled in investigator initiated, collaborative group or commercially sponsored trials within the Division of Cancer Services (DOCS), PAH. This includes provision of senior clinical, problem-solving skills, expert planning and co-ordination of patients with complex care needs within a research framework. This includes: Practical support for the Principal Investigators (PI) and project teams Handling administrative paperwork associated with participant recruitment, consent and education Supporting data collection Maintaining research records and data-bases Adhering to project requirements as per study protocol and other supporting documents Planning, managing and delivering spec.
