About the Role Working in all areas (Kitchen, Wards & Mental Health Facility).
Fulfil the accountabilities of this role in accordance with Queensland Health's core values, as outlined above. Participate in a range of operational duties as part of direct duties, or to assist staff in other duties. This will include food preparation, stock receiving and storage, stock rotation & control, serving on the plating line, trolley delivery to ward, serving meals and beverages to patients, dishwashing etc.
Responsible for keeping an imprest system and the stock control of patient food supplies in the ward kitchen areas. Responsible for cleaning duties in allocated areas as part of direct duties or to assist staff. This will include ward kitchens, main kitchen, storerooms and cold and freezer rooms.
