Instrumental to the success of such a large school is the Head of School position.
As the Head of School (Years 4 - 6) you will (but not limited to): Work with the Executive Leadership Team to deliver the strategic vision of Varsity College (P - 12) Work with the Head of School (P - 3) to successfully deliver continuous school improvement on the Primary Campus (P - 6) Lead the sub school team (Year 4 - 6) to cultivate a learning environment that is highly supportive of success, and personal and academic growth Motivate and engage staff, students and parents to ensure a climate of support and high expectations Have a strong understanding of current educational research and practice Demonstrate excellent communication skills in a range of formal and informal settings to build a cohesive and effective team environment. In order to achieve the above, Our Head of School (4-6) will be an educator who can foster a culture of inspirational teaching and learning and can lead the development and implementation of school improvement initiatives. A mandatory requirement of this role is: Current full registration or current provisional registration with eligibility for full registration, as a teacher in Queensland.
