Supervisor Civil - BlackwaterAurizon
Location: Blackwater, QLD Remuneration/Benefit: Attractive remuneration and extensive progression opportunities About the role: Involvement in day to day works planning in conjunction with schedulers Liaising with contractors and other internal stakeholders to set and resource jobs through the organisation of plant & materials Expectation to be in the field managing the team, quality checking completed works as well as monitoring and managing team safety Work in close proximity with superintendent regarding budget, performance to plan, safety and leave Office and field based role with requirement to effectively manage both aspects Monday to Friday roster primarily with requirement to work weekends during closures and whilst on-call Fulfil on-call requirements on a rotating fortnightly basis Travel across the Central Queensland Coal Network (CQCN) as required to direct, manage and supervise teams Access to a pool vehicle for business use only Residential role only, must reside in Blackwater or surrounds. FIFO is not offered. About you: Certificate IV and/or Diploma in Frontline Leadership qualification Extensive rail & track civil infrastructure background Current Class C Drivers licence (mandatory) Strong understanding of IT systems including SAP and Microsoft Office Exceptional communication skills and ability to effectively influence & negotiate with a range of stakeholders Strong safety mindset and ability to identify hazards on a work site Willingness to complete CAT 3 Medical Ability to commit to frequent travel across CQCN and overtime as required What we can offer you: At Aurizon, we support the development and growth of our employees to reach their full potential.
