Reporting to GTE’s Executive Director, this position will be very dynamic ranging from errands around town to elementary engineering design, development, and testing. The role will provide some very good tutelage in engineering processes with a focus on change management. Key Responsibilities: Report to Executive Director on time and progress on all works. Perform engineering design and related duties; including, control system software development (PLC & SCADA), equipment specifications and selection, schematic and wiring design and testing of software by working with other team members.

Ensure all work is completed to a high standard, on budget, on schedule and safely. Ensure project risks are identified and managed to Company’s satisfaction. Develop, maintain, and distribute key project documents to relevant stakeholders.

Assist with the development and automation of business systems to support the requirements of the Executive Directors. Ensure site activities are conducted in accordance with client and government regulations, procedures, and policies. Manage time effectively to meet client and Company requirements.

Ensure current technical standards, reference materials, software programs and tools are in place as necessary for the use of project engineering and technical disciplines. Participate in continuous improvement programs. Assist in planning and coordination of the roll out of engineering excellence frameworks for the Company’s project team.

Undertake other duties commensurate with experience. Your Qualifications, Licences and Working Requirements: Bachelor of Engineering. Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to identify and analyse project problems, formulate appropriate courses of action and recommendations, and support implementation. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
