Senior Accountant (Tax and Business Services) working for a well established firm in West Perth THE COMPANY Our client is one of the leading financial service firms in WA, established 40 years ago, it has grown to 60 staff and four divisions. The divisions range from Accounting, Tax and Business Consulting to Financial Advisory, Mortgage Lending to Personal Insurance and Superannuation (SMSF). This enables them to offer a wide range of services and a holistic and personalised approach to their clients’ financial needs.

THE OPPORTUNITY Your main duties and responsibilities will include: Preparation of financial statements and income tax returns for companies and trusts, partnerships & individuals Prepare, oversee and advise on BAS, FBT, GST, Payroll Tax and statutory reporting requirements Assisting with tax planning, entity setups etc Assist to manage client relationships Liaise effectively with external and internal stakeholders Mentor and review work for junior members of staff Ensure workflow efficiency, accuracy and deadlines are met THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT Will need to have 5 years’ in an Australian public practice firm Be working towards or completed your CA or CPA Excellent ability to build rapport and maintain client relationships High level of written and verbal communication essential Ability to identify opportunities to improve client’s financial position Good team player that is capable of working with teams at all levels within the firm Highest stan....
