About the role The primary role of the Community Support Officer is to coordinate the Telephone Support Program, and provide high quality support to volunteers and clients. The Community Support Officer plays a key role in ensuring that the day-to-day CHSP Red Cross Programs are delivered to a high standard, by ensuring the work force is utilized in the most efficient and effective manner. These services are vital to ensure that clients are not at risk of becoming socially isolated.
What you will bring Proven highly developed organisational and time management skills Excellent records management and general office administration Ability to prioritize workload and organize own work environment in line with competing demands and ability to meet deadlines Demonstrated intermediate computer skills in word processing skills, spreadsheet and database with a high level of accuracy Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with clients & volunteers Experience working with people with diverse backgrounds The benefits Be part of one of the largest humanitarian organisations and know that the work contributes to improving outcomes for vulnerable people.
