We are exclusively recruiting for a Business Relationship Manager to join a Global organisation with the role being located in Sydney. As part of the organisation’s ongoing commitment to support its members with employability, the Business Relationship Manager role is responsible for the delivery of an Approved Employer Program, including responsibility for strategic planning, maintaining effective employer relationships and execution of business development strategies to achieve market plans. This role is focused on optimising engagement with the industry, through existing and prospective Approved Employers and Approved Learning Partners, to increase awareness about the organisation, their thought leadership and professional insights and the value proposition to support Approved Employers businesses.
Key Responsibilities: Work as a key member of the Business team to develop and enhance relationships with existing and prospective Approved Employers to generate additional employment or internship opportunities for members. Work closely with Education Engagement Manager to identify need on employability and delivery of workshops, webinars to increase employability. Collaborate with Head of Membership Services and Member Engagement Manager to identify members employability needs and devise support for these members Lead and organise employer events and strategic projects to support business development activities.
Maintain awareness of Jobs and demonstrate ability to utilise the jobs portal, skills builder, and employability resources to achieve employability agenda. Work with Head of Marketing and Planning to produce newsletters and communications to engage with Approved Employers by showcasing thought leadership and professional insights and advertise professional development opportunities. Identify opportunities to work with employers to build brand and recognition.
Meet targets and employer engagement outcomes related to the role. Knowledge, Skills & Experience: A relevant qualification in HR, business, accounting or a related field. Proven experience in the field of recruitment, industry engagement, business development, relationship / key account management.
Extensive experience in developing strategic engagement and communications, building networks and collaborations to maximise impact. Experience working across multiple projects and managing multiple relationships. Knowledge of the accountancy profession and relevant employers.
A track recording in building strategic relationships and impacting decisions. Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills. Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills.
Well-developed organisational and time management skills with the ability to deliver to tight timelines whilst maintaining accuracy.
