Chelmer location | Part time position | Leading Aged Care provider Regis Lifestyle Program – PIEC&S PIEC&S is what you will hear talked about as Regis’ Lifestyle Program. PIEC&S is an acronym for Physical, Intellectual, Emotional, Cultural and Social. This means optimising residents: Personal preferences, Independence and Engagement, being Consultative, and promoting Self esteem.

We believe it is vitally important to stay engaged with life, to stay involved with current interests and develop new ones. Our National Lifestyle Team develops ideas from around the country and makes them available to all our residents. There are 100s of unique program offerings, National Programs and at least one major celebration each month.

Regis provides targeted services, and specialised staff and environments to support residents living with dementia. Some of our programs include PARO Therapy, Activity Stations, Table Top Activities, Music Memories, Resi Home and our Sundowners Program. Workplace Location Regis Chelmer is a purpose-built ageing-in-place facility inside a faithfully restored 1890s mansion, topped with a magnificent rooftop Club lounge opened late 2017.

There are 120 single rooms, each with en suite, and all with a view of a courtyard or landscaped garden. Regis Chelmer offers a Family Room for when a loved one is in palliative care. About the role We are seeking an enthusiastic person to bring energy and passion to the role of Lifestyle Coordinator.

In this rewarding role you will be responsible for designing and implementing a high quality calendar of meaningful activities and events. This is a full time leadership position that will support and coordinate staff, volunteers, and community engagement. Regis’ Lifestyle program focuses on individual needs, preferences, and goal setting in order to support and empower our residents to maximise their independence and well being.

Duties & Responsibilities Develop lifestyle programs based on individual needs, preferences and goals with the aim to enhance Physical, Intellectual, Emotional, Cultural, and Social well being Active participation in the delivery of activities Prepare comprehensive and accurate Lifestyle Assessments of residents Ensure complete and timely documentation of resident participation and engagement Manage and coach the lifestyle team to deliver engaging and meaningful lifestyle activities Support the orientation and training of new team members and volunteers Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, families and volunteers Facilitate community engagement opportunities Skills & Experience Demonstrated understanding of Leisure and Lifestyle programming and Aged Care Quality Standards Certificate IV in Leisure and Health Previous experience in a Lifestyle Assistant / Coordinator position (or similar) Previous experience in Dementia care Experience using a computerised Care Management System (desirable) Outstanding computer literacy skills Strong written and ver.
