Employment Type: Temporary Part Time until June 2024 Position Classification: Health Manager Level 3 Remuneration: $116,403 - $132,700 pro rata Hours Per Week: 20 Requisition ID: REQ255813 Location: Hunter Project Manager Connecting and Coordinating care for kids with chronic and complex health needs We have a rare opportunity for an experienced professional to join our team in this pivotal role of Project manager - Connecting and Coordinating care for kids with chronic and complex health needs. The project team will be a part of HNE Children, Young People and Families Service team working across Local Health Districts and specialty networks to develop a new model of care for children and young people with chronic and complex health needs. The broad project outcome is to identify a sustainable, cost effective and fully integrated model that empowers children and families on their complex health care journey.
About the role: This position will see you leading the project team, supporting the project officer and reporting to the Community Network Manager and project Steering Committee. Using ACI project management methodology, you will provide leadership, planning, analysis, consultation, communication, implementation and evaluation skills and processes to deliver the desired project outcomes. As an innovative leader, you will collaborate with stakeholders from John Hunter Children’s Hospital, rural and regional areas of Hunter New England Local Health District and the Mid North Coast, Northern NSW and Central Coast LHDs; Children’s Healthcare Network and the Sydney Children Hospital Network.
This role will require you to work within the budgetary constraints of the project as well as support the cost-effective use of resources and will also be responsible for ensuring that required high quality data, reporting and written communications for the project are provided. About you: The ideal candidate will be an experienced and innovative professional who will utilise their extensive project management skills to lead the project, analyse complex information, systems and process to deliver results and outcomes which improve care coordination. You will a highly motivated individual who has superior communication, negotiation and collaborative skills that support delivery of project outcomes and has a strong commitment to accountability.
