We are looking for innovative and motivated psychologists to join our team. We have full time or part time positions for permanent and temporary work.

Right now, we are looking for Psychologists who want to focus on clinical practice with complex clients. Opportunities are available at: Eastern Suburbs Metro Sydney - permanent and temporary full-time positions are available at Long Bay Correctional Complex working in a therapeutic treatment unit. Central Metro Sydney - permanent and temporary positions are available, full-time and part-time positions based in Surry Hills.

We would also consider Part Time Options for Long Bay, this is dependent on availability. About Us: Corrective Services NSW (CSNSW) delivers professional Correctional Services and Programs to reduce the risk of re-offending and enhance public safety. It serves a key function of the NSW Justice sector by providing effective, safe and humane management of offenders both in custody and in the community.

CSNSW also works in partnership with other government and community agencies to ensure that offenders and their families are supported. About the Roles: Psychologists work directly with offenders in custody and recently-released offenders who have been reintroduced into the community. Our Psychologists are highly valued and essential members of the team who work hard to make a difference and provide opportunities to assist offenders in reducing the risk of re-offending.

Our team doesn’t stop there Our Psychologists assist in the development of policies, procedures, and training for other psychologists and often liaise and negotiate with stakeholders. Sex Offender Programs is committed to delivering high-quality cognitive behavioural therapies with a focus on behaviour change and self-efficacy and self-awareness of clients. The positive impacts you will make as a clinician will extend beyond your direct client, to the client’s family and the wider community.

Sex Offender Programs provides strong collegiate support and ongoing professional development opportunities. About the locations: Forensic Psychology Services (FPS), Sex & Violent Offender Therapeutic Programs – Surry Hills Forensic Psychology Services is the Community-Based Sex Offender Program located at Surry Hills. We are invested in providing an opportunity for men convicted of sexual offences to understand their behaviour and make changes to achieve their goals.

You will be tasked with applying key therapeutic frameworks to guide assessment and treatment recommendations, as well as delivering a range of group-based offending behaviour programs aimed at reducing the risk of re-offending. Our group programs are facilitated in an open (rolling) format. We also offer individual risk management sessions and consult heavily with key stakeholders to provide support for r.
