About the role Working closely with the Service Manager and our Allied Health professionals, you will enjoy engaging with our much loved residents as you evaluate their care needs. Your primary focus will be recognising resident needs and assisting them with services that enrich their daily living. In order to ensure that residents' individual care plan requirements are met, you will also provide comprehensive guidance to nursing and care staff.
About you You can effectively communicate at all levels enabling you to achieve best nursing practices. Understanding the importance of providing quality care to our residents, you feel rewarded by creating a genuine impact. You have excellent leadership skills and the ability to guide and direct our personal care workers onsite.
You should also hold a current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse. Please note, all employees working within our residential and community aged care will need to be immunised for Influenza. If you have already received your flu vaccination, we ask that you provide proof as part of the recruitment process.
From 17 September 2021, it will be mandatory for all residential aged care workers to have received a minimum first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine, as agreed by National Cabinet on 28 June 2021.
