Personal Care Worker - Ingham

About the role During your varied day, you will assist residents with their mobility to and from activities (including meals), and will support them to participate in activities within the facility and social outings. As you carry out these tasks, you will be passionate about ensuring the personal care you provide is high quality and emits empathy, warmth and unconditional love. Our community has a variety of shifts available and you will be working a mixture of AM, PM, night and weekend shifts.
About you You have a compassionate nature and love being around and caring for seniors. Your experience and qualifications for this role ideally, should include: Certificate III or IV in Aged Care; Willingness to work a variety of shifts. Please note, all employees working within our residential and community aged care are required to be immunised for Influenza.
If you have already received your flu vaccination, we ask that you provide proof as part of the recruitment process. From 17 September 2021, it will be mandatory for all residential aged care workers to have received a minimum first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine, as agreed by National Cabinet on 28 June 2021.
