About the Role The position will assist in the delivery of the LiveWell program and activities at Leisurelink Aquatic and Recreation Centre. It will assess the needs of older adult clients and develop and prescribe individual programs incorporating a diverse range of activities.
The position will also assist in the management of LiveWell staff and programs; including reporting, word processing, customer liaison, database management, marketing and administrative duties. This part time role of 48 hours a fortnight, is available on a permanent basis. Key responsibilities include Assist the Programs Coordinator in the management of bookings for Livewell Assessments.
Conduct Livewell Assessments and follow up new member enquires. Provide administrative support to the Programs Coordinator. Assist the Programs Coordinator in ensuring the Livewell Program meets customer needs.
Assist the Programs Coordinator in the rostering of Livewell instructors. About you To be successful in this role, you will be a versatile team player who holds a Diploma of Fitness (or higher) including the Older Adults module. Current industry registration as a gym instructor and/or older adults’ trainer (Fitness Australia, Physical Activity Australia) Level 2 First Aid Certificate CPR Working with Children Check.
Essential Experience in working with older adult clients. Knowledge of general fitness principles. Ability to work without supervision.
