The role with us As an Incident Response Consultant for Safety Security and Wellbeing (SSW), your passion for supporting people and enabling safe, secure, and sustainable work practices motivates you to bring your best every day. This position is responsible for providing incident response support for safety, wellbeing, environmental and security incidents within Telstra and its subsidiaries. Key responsibilities Provide support to employees and contractors who have been involved in incidents or require assistance in making hazards safe Lead investigations into safety, security, wellbeing, and environmental incidents Contribute to the development of consistent and robust SSW solutions in accordance with legislative requirements and internal SSW compliance processes and frameworks to promote a safe and healthy workplace at Telstra Leverage sound inter-personal skills to proactively collaborate with relevant stakeholders to advise and assist implement strategic and best practice SSW initiatives, obtaining input and gathering data to help identify areas of improvement for the team Apply a breadth of knowledge in SSW to support business leaders in managing SSW incident reporting, investigation, and actively engage with stakeholders to close out corrective actions within the business Collaborate with and support the team in partnering with business units to develop a range of education, awareness, and communication approaches to promote a thorough understanding of SSW requirements About you To be successful in the role, you'll bring skills and experience in: Experience facilitating WHS incident investigations using a recognised investigation methodology and developing investigation reports Extensive experience background (4-5 years) in WHS roles managing incidents Ability to engage, influence, and work with a range of internal and external stakeholders Action oriented, shows initiative and can work autonomously with minimal supervision Strong attention to details and organizational skills.
