Employment Type Permanent Closing Date 13 Sep 2021 11:59pm Job Title Senior Technical Consultant - Business/Project Management Job Description About the role: As one of our Senior Technical Consultants you'll be part of a team of 13, responsible for the development and delivery of technical and security consulting services. Within the ACT, this is largely Federal Government focused and related industry businesses, which is why it's essential the successful person is currently living in the ACT, within a commutable distance to Canberra CBD. You'll have a broad technical knowledge, with an understanding of Federal Government needs for Security, networking, and digital services.
As well as your technical expertise, it's paramount you're a great communicator, comfortable speaking and occasionally informally presenting to clients. Here's some of what you'll be doing day to day: Consulting Delivery - Delivery of consulting engagements directly including leveraging the wider Telstra consulting team and Telstra’s resources Deliver projects while creating high customer advocacy Build client references through delivery excellence Create and capture consulting best practices and delivery IP & incorporate them into a framework to improve Business expansion – working to develop programs with clients, assisting the sales team to differentiate Telstra value with consulting Innovation and Thought Leadership – As a problem-solving team we work with our internal and external stakeholders to leverage technology in all its forms. Bring innovation along with roadmaps to achieve ultimate strategic goals To be successful in the role, you must: Australian citizenship and have current/or can hold a minimum NV1 clearance and Employee Suitability Clearance (ESC) minimum to be considered.
This role will require you to gain/ hold and maintain an Australian Government NV2 security clearance Knowledge of Government security best practice, as it applies to enterprise network and security infrastructure Proven extensive experience in delivering projects, services, or consultancy services to large and medium-sized enterprise organizations Canberra based position to support customer-facing requirements Industry certifications or relevant experience in designing and/or delivering technical solutions, as well as an in-depth knowledge of technology vendors and the offerings they provide Experience with industry/ enterprise consulting and delivery methods – can be any of the recognized frameworks COBIT, TOGAF, Prince2, ITIL, PMI (PMP/CAPM) Telstra TRIM or an ability to demonstrate relevant projects or experience in using any of the above Ability to influence senior stakeholders and experience in developing customer presentations We fully embrace flexibility and choice at Telstra and it’s as unique as you.
