Position Profile: The Senior Scientific Officer provides strategic and technical advice on the management of vector mosquitoes and other biological health hazards to local government and other agencies.
They review management plans, lead the development of mosquito management related guidance/policy documents and provide content-specific training to stakeholders. They also refine early warning and intervention programs to improve responses to managing mosquitoes and outbreaks of mosquito-borne disease.
