Independent Public School - Southwest Education Region Mount Barker Community College Deputy Principal - Primary Pool Ref IPS/DP701675 Level 3, $118,626 - $129,810 per annum (SEA GA 2019) As of Monday, 6 September at 9:46am an amendment has been made to the page limit for addressing the selection criteria Appointment Pool Advertised Vacancy Number IPS/DP701675 We are seeking to establish a pool of Deputy Principal - Primary for appointments to permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2022 school year. Appointments can be made from the pool at any time for commencements within the 2022 school year. The Deputy Principal - Primary will provide educational leadership across the school, lead school improvement and the community by promoting the school mission and values, and establish strong relationships with students, staff and the community.
Ideally, suitable applicants will possess an understanding of the structure of Independent Public Schools and display excellent skills and knowledge of curriculum, coaching, delivering professional learning, school improvement planning and school operations. Suitable applicants will need to be committed to working in professional learning curriculum teams where there is a focus on collaboration, learning based on student results and continual rigorous school self-assessment and improvement. You should exhibit a high level of understanding of the Western Australian Curriculum and be strategic in your thinking where the detail in planning focuses on targets and our school improvement agenda.
Suitable applicants will ideally have excellent skills and knowledge in data analysis and how to use this to increase student outcomes.
