Independent Public School - South Metropolitan Education Region Pinjarra Senior High School Teacher - Humanities and Social Sciences 00001555 Teacher, $72,137 - $107,049 per annum (SEA GA 2019) Advertised Vacancy Number: IPS/TCH701705 This is a permanent full-time position commencing Term 4, 2021 Pinjarra Senior High School (SHS) is seeking a, passionate and committed Humanities and Social Sciences (HASS) teacher to join their school community. The successful applicant will ideally have experience teaching the WA curriculum from years 7-12. Applicants who have experience in successfully teaching Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) Geography and/or General Business are encouraged to apply.
The successful applicant should have well developed skills to differentiate the curriculum to meet the academic needs of a diverse range of students in their classes. Pinjarra SHS has a clear focus on High Quality Teaching. Central to this is a commitment to be trained in Classroom Management Strategies (CMS), Instructional Strategies for Engagement (ISE), Peer Observation and Tactical Writing.

This selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy. Applicants assessed as suitable during this selection process may be considered for other similar vacancies that occur throughout our school for up to 12 months following this initial appointment. This includes circumstances where this position becomes subsequently vacant should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised position.
