Independent Public School - South Metropolitan Education Region Halls Head College Teacher - English Pool Ref IPS/TCH701712 Teacher, $72,137 - $107,049 per annum (SEA GA 2019) Advertised Vacancy Number: IPS/TCH701712 Appointment Pool Halls Head College is seeking to establish a pool of dedicated and hardworking English Teachers for appointments to permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2021 school year, up to the end of the 2022 school year. Appointments can be made from the pool at any time for commencements within the 2021 school year, up to the end of the 2022 school year. Suitable applicants will ideally have the ability to work collaboratively to plan and implement effective teaching and learning plans.
Applicants will provide excellence in creating and maintaining supportive and safe learning environment and provide educational opportunities and activities which enable students to achieve their highest potential. With effective interpersonal skills, the suitable applicants will work closely with students, colleagues and the community to achieve the best educational outcomes for students. Senior secondary Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) English experience would be viewed favourably but is not essential.
Halls Head College is uniquely situated on the 'island' of Halls Head just south of Mandurah. The local intake area of Halls Head College is south, close to the Waroona Shire boundary. The contributory primary schools are Glencoe, Halls Head, Falcon, South Halls Head and Ocean Road.
