Independent Public School - North Metropolitan Education Region Bob Hawke College Head of Learning Area - Humanities and Social Sciences 00041467 Level 3, $118,626 - $129,810 per annum (SEA GA 2019) Advertised Vacancy Number: IPS/SA693227 This is a permanent full-time position commencing Term 1, 2022 Bob Hawke College is seeking to appoint a highly competent and enthusiastic Head of Learning Area (HOLA) - Humanities and Social Sciences (HASS) to join their friendly and supportive leadership team. The HOLA - HASS provides high quality leadership to staff within the HASS learning area as well as work closely with the Principal and School Leadership Team to provide educational leadership across the school. The successful applicant will ideally be an exemplary classroom practitioner who can lead the implementation of excellence in teaching and learning across the HASS Learning Area.
You will lead improvement and change initiatives and use data to inform decision making which supports your successful practice. The successful applicant will ideally have the following attributes: able to practice care; be curious about learning and about learners; be invested in the College and the community; and be reflective of themselves and their practice. The College has emerged as a central hub of the Subiaco east Redevelopment precinct with its innovative design and shared facilities.
