ABOUT THE LOCATION DFES is establishing a multi-purpose Koolinup Emergency Services Centre Facility in Collie to improve the emergency management capability of Collie and surrounding communities, enhance community safety and boost local job creation and business opportunities. This facility will provide emergency driving training for volunteers and DFES staff from all over the state, regional fleet maintenance and management, quality assurance and final inspection of new fleet products built in Collie as well as providing ICT and radio communication frontline service support.
This facility will also establish the state's first purpose-built Incident Control Centre (ICC). ABOUT THE ROLE This position will provide support to the facilities management team and play a key role in activating the Koolinup ESC and its activities. The position will be responsible for meeting and training room bookings, liaising with internal and external stakeholders, supporting the South Region coordination of DFES buildings, stations and sites for fault and routine maintenance and general administrative support.
