The Opportunity Our client is seeking a Release Lead to be a key player in a fast-moving agile project delivery environment which is deploying the next generation of customer service solutions, business systems and technical platforms. You will be supporting and managing the processes, systems, and functions to plan, package, build, test and deploy changes and updates into production, relating to new service solutions/functionality or enhancements. Your extensive IT background will enable you to quickly identify synergies and technical interdependencies within project releases and resolve potential conflicts to ensure release integrity.
You will be responsible for ensuring all parties comply with release acceptance standards and criteria, and transition handovers support service continuity. Your contemporary skill set will equip you to identify opportunities to automate integrate, test, and deploy to improve release efficiencies and quality. Your background in ITIL Service Change Management will be highly regarded along with your proven expertise in Incident, Problem and Risk Management.
There is a flexible hybrid work model in place which supports face to face team contact and the convenience of working from home. The work office is state of the art in design and technology, well serviced by public transport, and surrounded by a diverse choice of cafés. I am not sure about ping pong tables but there are water views.
Your Profile Fit Extensive Release Management experience in large enterprise environments ITIL Service Change Management expertise is essential Strong project management and environment management skills Fully conversant with the Agile Delivery Life Cycle Expert skills in MS Project, Jira, and Confluence Proficient with Service Management tools: Service Now , New Relic, Splunk Can confidently engage, influence, and collaborate with cross functional technical and business teams and key stakeholders. Flexible approach to work and can quickly adjust to changing priorities. Proactive in sharing knowledge and driving clarity to achieve optimal service solutions and delivery outcomes A strong problem solver and critical thinker who thrives in a fast moving, project environments If you are an Australian Citizen , or have Permanent Residency (PR) , or other full-time Australian working Visa entitlements, possess the above skills and experience we would welcome your application.
