Independent Public School - North Metropolitan Education Region Churchlands Senior High School Teacher - Humanities and Social Sciences Pool Ref IPS/TCH699020 Teacher, $72,137 - $107,049 per annum (SEA GA 2019) Advertised Vacancy Number: IPS/TCH699020 Appointment Pool Churchlands Senior High School (SHS) is seeking to establish a pool of Teachers - Humanities and Social Sciences (HASS) for appointments to permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2021 school year and up to the end of Term 4, 2022. Appointments can be made from the pool at any time for commencements within the school year of, 2021, up to the end of Term 4, 2022. Suitable applicants should be passionate and experienced HASS teachers who engage students in their learning, create positive learning environments and foster productive relationships to ensure that all students reach their personal potential.
Suitable applicants will have strong interpersonal skills and the ability collaborate with other members of the school community to achieve planned outcomes. Ideally, they will exhibit an ability to deliver the Western Australian HASS curriculum in Years 7-10, and possess experience in teaching a Senior School Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) course, particularly Economics. The Microsoft Office 365 Suite, especially OneNote, is used extensively by both teachers and students and experience using these applications would be highly desirable.
