The Country Chef Bakery Co. are looking to appoint a HR Manager who will be accountable for the implementation of HR services across the company. This is a full time role that is located at The Country Chef Bakery Co.
on the Sunshine Coast. Key responsibilities: Provide expert advice on best practice HR principles, Industrial relations, Industrial Awards, and workplace relations. Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
Work in collaboration with the Management Team contributing to actively promoting a positive workplace culture and strive to enhance the internal operations and external reputation through the application of best practice HR policies and procedures. Manage employee relations by providing guidance and advice to Managers and Team leaders on employee performance, grievances, and other issues. Manage the recruitment and selection process by providing expert advice on the management, development and placement of talent.
Oversee succession planning and the planning of seasonal staff based on business requirements. Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance. Provide the necessary support systems for payroll requirements Participate in the development and the execution of the Company Learning and Development Plan Provide advice on all people matters and manage the delivery of the HR function across the employee lifecycle.
Requirements • Sound knowledge of contemporary HR practices and legislation • Exceptional communication, verbal, and written skills • Effective time management with the ability to capably manage multiple projects at any given time • solid understanding of award interpretation and Australian workplace relations legislation • Proven capability and knowledge to manage projects and deliverables effectively. • Ability to maintain confidentiality and privacy concerned in dealing with any human resources matters and information • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources (or related area of study) or demonstrated experience • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a senior HR role • Change management experience and flexibility to adapt to a changing work environment. • Experience in Industrial Relations and engagement/cultural change practices.
