Component Partner Manager - SydneySupply Chain People
Join a high tech, dynamic, Renewable Energy project based company. The role: Join a high-tech, high-energy company and bring your partner management and analysis skills to help build the ecosystem. Drive and support the component supplier relationships and activities on behalf of all strategic aims of the company and planned projects.
A key role in smoothing and expediting mutually beneficial processes and planning. Develop, retain and manage partner relationships as key contact for components Identify new partner opportunities and set lead and conversion targets for partners Support the engineering team from design to manufacture stage Establish a deep understanding of the key raw material categories of the components and suggest improvements to purchasing and optimisation of supply Support demand planning (MRP) and forecasting planning (S&OP) and plan decision points in the process Stay up to date with geopolitical and market influences affecting buying strategies Monitor and support component partner targets and performance Use statistics to report and monitor both directions through meaningful dashboards, reports and scalable analytics Monitor, assist with and negotiate partner contracts Drive and deliver initiatives to build component partner engagement capacity and skills aligned with the company's strategic goals. The ideal candidate: Has a minimum of 5 years in an account management role in a supply chain environment or a category manager with account management (suppliers or partners) experience and negotiations experience holds Tertiary Qualifications in Supply Chain or Business management Has experience or demonstrated interest in the renewable energy field or similar project-based technical rollouts Has excellent people skills with negotiation and management skills Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills Has negotiation and conflict resolution kills Is used to complex stakeholder relationships The ability to influence in a impactful way through relationships Ability to analyse data and make meaningful decisions that mitigate business risks A very bold and energetic company with a mission to create abundant, cost-effective, accessible renewable energy across the world.
