Carine Senior High School (SHS) is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Vocational Education and Training (VET) Program Coordinator to join their school. The successful applicant will be motivated, highly skilled and experienced Program Coordinator in the area of Business teaching and Vocational Education and Training (VET), to join our innovative Senior Leadership team. This role is integral to the leadership of the school, because the position will advance the teaching and learning in this crucial subject area and demonstrate a team approach to improvements, linking with Business, VET and an understanding of TAFE.
The Business Certificates II, III and IV are a component of the teaching program for the role. The successful applicant will bring to the role, a strong sense of passion and motivation to the VET area, establish and maintain positive relationships with Registered Training Organisations (RTO's) and further the implementation of Certificate Offerings to all senior schooling students. You will take on a key leadership role within the community in promoting, establishing and maintaining partnerships with employers and in promoting Work Place Learning.
You will have a proven ability to work closely with students to achieve shared goals within the school. The Program Coordinator works with Vocational Education students, training institutions and businesses to ensure maximum opportunities for students. Extensive experience in VET, current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, high level of understanding of current system initiatives and requirements in VET are all highly recommended for this position.
