This role will establish and maintain training and support materials for Australian and New Zealand staff and customers and deliver training and expertise to the sales and clinical support teams. The role will learn and maintain the scientific background for the use of products in this portfolio and transfer knowledge into reasonable strategies and support activities for sales and assist in sales team training/education on products.

You will set up pricing schemes for private and public hospital customers and support tender processes and communicate strategies to the sales team, encouraging ownership and involvement to ensure enthusiastic delivery of sales and marketing activities and support the sales team with implementation of sales tools. You will spend 1-2 days a month on the road with sales teams to build and manage relationships with key influencers. You will establish and coordinate a three-year strategic marketing plan for developing the product portfolio and revise and adapt the plan on an annual basis and develop an annual sales forecast in cooperation with the sales department.

You will monitor key financial area’s including the recording of monthly sales, expenditure and cost savings and track sales and product data to ensure availability for senior management, sales and customers. The position will lead the process for capturing customer complaints and resolving these with the customer and maintain knowledge of internal & external systems and responsibilities for complaint capture and resolution. WHAT EXPERIENCE WILL YOU NEED TO GET THE JOB? University qualifications in marketing, science, engineering or similar.

Minimum 7 years medical device marketing (including digital marketing), experience in Australia, with ideally some sales exposure. Analytical skills and a high proficiency in Excel is necessary. Proficient in Adobe software packages such as Photoshop, InDesign and Premiere Pro is highly desirable.
