Data Analyst

Reporting to the Deputy CEO, this full-time position provides data analytics support and advice. You will work closely with all departments to meet their data needs including recommendations for improvement. The duties you will include: Provide data analytics support and expertise to all departments at BKF Working with BKF departments to ensure that their business requirements are accurately documented and help to formulate requirements Undertake data cleansing for implementation of new systems Provide assistance and support for new systems from design to implementation and then support business as usual operations Provide support and advise around data integration Provide documentation and training on systems to relevant teams Provide general support and training to staff on systems and programs Create and maintain resources/programs/systems for internal use to assist and improve efficiency and effectiveness Work with business partners to identify and analyse various work procedures and processes In partnership with the IT/Project Manager, act as a resource to provide support, guidance and information to all departments on systems projects Actively participate and collaborate on IT and data projects Liaise with internal and external clients to ensure IT and data projects are efficient and effective Provide data modelling for all systems, processes and procedures as required Provide support on projects including the application of project management principles to spec, develop and implement project plans and their execution Working with large data sets to provide analysis and de-duping records Review, assess and recommend options for collecting, sharing and using data across the organisation Reviewing systems and processes to evaluate and recommend improvements to increase efficiencies, performance, functionality and compliance Ensuring the quality and integrity of all systems and data, for projects and business as usual The selection criteria It is important that candidates applying for this role understand that they will be exposed to traumatic content from time to time.

Support and training is available to employees to assist in managing vicarious trauma. All employees of Blue Knot are required to undergo a National Police Check. To be successful in this role, you will have: Degree in STEM or similar 2-3 years of experience in a similar role Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and BI Tools including VBA and pivot tables Knowledge of project management principles and their application Excellent communication skills, particularly around documentation of business process Good knowledge of data modelling Experience in using programming language such as Python High degree of analytical and numerical skills High level administration, organisational and problem-solving skills Experience in prioritising a heavy workload with competing business priorities Proven ability working to deadlines Proven ability to work collaboratively High attention to det.
